Three students from Gujarat among the top 10 in IIT JEE Advanced 2019.
When you see the name Madhapur three times on the JEE Advanced 2019 results while searching for the top 10 candidates, you have to google the place.
Madhapur is a suburb of Hyderabad, located in the Rangareddy district.
The suburb – the pictures on google show a hi-tech city – has bagged the maximum number of top honours in the JEE Advanced results, 2019.
Ranks four, five and eight, out of the first 10, are from Madhapur. G Akash Reddy has secured the fourth rank, Battepati Karthikeya stands fifth and Thivesh Chandram has secured the eighth rank.
Delhi comes just after Madhapur, with the national capital’s Archit Bubna securing the third rank and Dhruv Kumar Gupta standing ninth.
The All-India topper, Gupta Kartikeya Chandresh, is from Ballarpur in Maharashtra, and has secured 346 of a total of 372 marks. Himanshu Gaurav Singh of Allahabad has secured the second rank with 340 marks.
The state of Gujarat has three candidates among the top 10. Nishant Abhangi of Rajkot has secured the sixth rank, Kaustubh Dighe of Surat has secured the seventh rank and Shabnam Sahay of Ahmedabad has stood 10th.
